Helping Dallas refugees integrate into the local community with empathy, understanding, and respect.
2023 Volunteers Needed!
We are currently in need of female college students (ages 18-26) in the Dallas area to help tutor high school female refugees in the Dallas school district.
Additionally, we are launching an activities-based program, starting Feb. 15, 2023, where refugee women and college students share activities, tea, and conversations! This is in conjunction with the International Rescue Committee in Dallas, our newest partner!
If you’re interested in this program, see more on our "Reach for Success” project on our website.

Supporting education and community.
The Dallas Refugee Project believes in the radical idea that a group of passionate individuals can make a change in their community for the good.
Together, we work to ensure Dallas is a welcoming place for refugees, immigrants, and asylum seekers. We do this by prioritizing empathy, respect, and dignity.
Tangibly, this means building relationships between and gathering resources for marginalized groups. That’s where you come in. Want to help make Dallas a more inclusive place for all?
“The key to successful support for the refugee community in Dallas is just that: community.”
— Aubrey Wieberg, Founder of the Dallas Refugee Project
