Empathy and respect can change Dallas for the good.

I love this city, with its confusing highways, supreme cuisine, and diverse population. To someone who has been a Texan their whole life, I felt at home the moment I moved to Dallas. But, to someone who immigrated, fled, or sought refuge in Dallas, the city can be isolating and marginalizing to the people it should welcome with open arms.

No one should feel undeserving of or unwelcome in our city.

So let’s do something about it. I wholeheartedly believe that a group of passionate and motivated individuals have the ability to change their community for the good. With our approach — focusing on Dallas itself — we have the unique ability to build a strong, centered, and welcoming community here in the heart of Dallas.
